• Folding Powerchairs come with a 17.5″ wide seat. There is a flip down footplate but one cannot attach elevating legrests. They have Lithium Batteries. The Folding Powerchairs are easy to fold and transport. (250 lbs. weight capacity)
• Jazzy Air Powerchairs come with a 20″ wide captains\' seat. (Rehab seats are available as well.) Flip down footplates come standard but one cannot attach elevating legrests. The seat elevates 12″ in just 11 seconds. These chairs cannot be disassembled and reassembled. (250 lbs. weight capacity)

1. Will Medicare or my insurance pay for my powered wheelchair rental?

   We will not bill or coordinate benefits for short-term wheelchair rentals, but if your insurance does cover these services, we can provide any information needed to help you file your claim.

2. Will I be charged sales tax?

   Powered wheelchairs are not taxed, but delivery fees are subject to tax in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

3. What if something goes wrong with my powered wheelchair?

   Homepro Medical checks and tests all wheelchair rentals before they go out. We are confident that you won’t have any problems, but if you do, we will repair the wheelchair at no cost as soon as possible.

4. What if I want to purchase my powered wheelchair?

   Homepro Medical also sells new and used Invacare and Pride Medical powered wheelchairs, and offers a rent to purchase option on some chairs. There is free delivery on all sales over $100.

• There is no refund (100% cancellation fee) for a confirmed rental reservation made on the day of delivery.
